Roman luxury fashion house Valentino has launched a dedicated career website through a new digital hub that will allow working talent to discover the House and its global community.
Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli has been at the top of fashion, championing a more inclusive industry, and part of that inclusion starts with having a dedicated career website that all people can apply to and be given equal considerations to work at the company. “In a global landscape in which professional profiles are becoming increasingly heterogeneous, it is essential to provide tools and platforms which reflect multiculturalism, respecting and showcasing social and cultural individuality, constantly working to balance business and creativity,” states Valentino in notes.
The website is in English, Italian, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese and offers a window into the world of Valentino to: join their community, their people, their values, their projects, academia and create shared values. The website also provides growth tools for those that are a part of the House, like the two in-house schools: La Bottega dell’Arte and La Bottega dei Mestieri, which prepare staff to take on artisanal roles in Prêt-à-Porter and Haute Couture.
“With Accademia Valentino, the goal is to create and spread value, involving employees throughout the year in training courses aimed at enriching technical, specialist and managerial skills, beneficial for strengthening individual know-how,” continues the House. Within this Valentino Journey has been created with live learning experiences.
The purpose behind this website is to in addition to being diverse and expanding, Valentino wants to also create a genuine community. It’s as the House notes create, “a people-centricity at its core.” It also allows Valentino to be connected to a wider range of talent that will be a benefit to the talent and to the House.
